Jonathan is deeply passionate about walking with individuals through the complexity of life—the seasons of joy and fulfillment, as well as the seasons of pain and uncertainty. He believes that every person is created with inherent dignity, value, and purpose, and that healing often begins when we rediscover meaning in the midst of struggle.

He considers it an honor to walk alongside each client as they navigate life’s challenges and seek restoration. His counseling approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that change is possible for everyone.

About Me: I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or discouraged — whether from depression, bipolar disorder, high stress, relational challenges, spiritual questions, or major life transitions. Many of the clients I meet with aren’t just looking for symptom relief — they’re longing for clarity, direction, and renewed purpose.

My approach is relational and meaning-centered, influenced by logotherapy’s belief that even in suffering, meaning can be discovered. While we can’t always change our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them. I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based method for addressing trauma and distress, which pairs naturally with the deeper work of meaning-making — helping clients move beyond painful memories and live more freely in the present. When desired, I thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the counseling process in a collaborative and client-led way.

I’ve worked across inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings, supporting individuals, families, and groups.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, playing strategy board games, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. We live in Cobb County, Georgia.
